Use Mailinator to signup to websites and verify an email address without exposing your primary email address to additional SPAM. The service works by creating a mailbox for use on demand. No registration required.

To use Mailinator go to the website and enter a mailbox name. All of the mailboxes created are public so make sure the name is unique to reduce the likelihood someone else will use the same mailbox.

Once you are shown the inbox of your chosen mailbox note the alternative mailbox name which should be the email address you provide to websites. You check mail sent to the alternative name using your chosen mailbox name.
